"Growing up in this small cove on the south island of Twillingate, I have many fond memories of this area. My small dory was mored off here, and my best friend and I would spend hours sailing it in and out of the cove. Caplien would roll in on the beach here, and crowds
of people would gather to wade and scoop up as many of the small fish as possible. Sadly however, recent winter storms have destroyed the two satges in the background as well as the front portion of
the closer one. In my eyes this only acts to accentuate the downfall of the way of life in the cove since the closing of the fishery."
